Affiliate Radar Review
Tue, Jun 30, 2009
Affiliate Radar is an Affiliate Marketing campaign management tool created by Mark Roth and programmer Raakesh Blokhra. Mark Roth has been an Internet Marketer since 2005 and boasts a whopping $1.2 million in PPC sales. If you do a lot of PPC and CPA advertising and are tracking manually, or not tracking at all (what are you thinking?), then you definitely need to take a look at this tool.
Affiliate Radar is a subscription-based service that allows you to manage all your campaigns from one central location. It offers the typical tools that you would expect, including Keyword Performance Tracking, Keyword Researchl, and Ad Performance Tracking (banners, text links, auto-responder emails, etc.). However, there is one feature that Affiliate Radar boasts that no other product offers: Campaign Launcher. With Campaign Launcher, you setup your PPC campaigns in Affiliate Radar first, and then export the campaigns to Google, Yahoo, and MSN. And, you can import any of your campaigns from these search engines back into Affiliate Radar.
Are you still only using Google for your PPC campaigns? Did you know that Google was not always #1? Google was actually a late comer to PPC technology. Goto.com was the first to introduce PPC, who then became Overture, and is now part of Yahoo. Google catapulted itself to the top by making PPC more effective for both advertisers and end users by taking into account the relevancy of the ads to what people were searching for, and not just giving the highest bidder the top spot.
Google’s dominance in PPC advertising may not always remain, as Yahoo and MSN and are spending millions of dollars updating their search technology to gain a competitive edge. While most Affiliate Marketers and e-books tout Google as the only game in town, the savvy Affiliate Marketers use all three search engines with great success. Google controls 2/3 of all search engine traffic. That leaves 30% of the market to MSN, Yahoo and the other search engines. In Affiliate Marketing, 30% can bring in a lot more commissions. According to Mark Roth, the quantity of traffic from Yahoo and MSN may be lower, but the quality is very good.
Once you begin to explore the possibilities of advertising with Google, MSN, and Yahoo, imagine only having to create one PPC campaign and then export it to all three search engines and track all your campaigns from one central location. Forget Xtreme Conversions, Google Cash Detective, and Keyword X-Ray - they don’t even compare.
Affiliate Radar does not require any tech-savy, script installations, or HTML knowledge. Everything is managed from the web interface. If you are not using an affiliate tracking tool, I highly recommend Affiliate Radar.
