We all know that affiliate marketing is a great way for those who want to earn quick money online, as you dont have to have your own website or product. But where alot of people fall short, is that they simply dont drive enough traffic to their websites to make money. Once you have built up your skill and receiving a good ROI, then you can move onto yahoo and google.

2. Set a limit on your total spending per day. Something like $50 a day. This may sound obvious, but alot of people just let the ads run without testing conversions etc. They then end up with a great big bill and no sales.

3. Make your ad groups and keywords as targetted as possible. Narrow longtail keywords are not only much cheaper but your CTR will increase and these searchers are much more likely to be buyers.

4. Test, Test, TEST. Test everything from your ads, to the affiliate sales page. Let them run for about 200 clicks and then choose the best performing.

5. Use negative keywords to make sure your ads only show up for relevant keyword terms. For example if you are selling a product you may want to take out the words -free, -trial, -download. This way you wont be wasting your money on freebe hunters.

Remember once you have one campaign up and running, you can simply turn to the next product and leave the original campaign going- making you money on auto pilot. Ofcourse there are plenty of other methods available to help you make money with affiliate marketing such as videos, blogs, articles, forums etc but ppc is without doubt the quickest and easiest.
